A Postcard Edition

60 miles east of Pattison State Park (previous post) is Copper Falls State Park. Both share geological origins of volcanic activity related to the Midcontinent Rift.

Copper Falls is an awe-inspiring retreat of cascading waterfalls, deep gorges, and old-growth forests. A scenic boardwalk trail winds through towering pines and offers beautiful views of the copper-hued falls and raucous rapids below.

The only thing to outshine these wonderful views is my beautiful partner, Jennifer! – featured in these photos.
